Starring: Ray Romano
Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
Well this is the third in what has been a very entertaining series of movies that seem to get better with every one. This one as the title indicates is about the dinosaurs. It is a charming story about the familiar but loveable herd of animals that seem not to belong together but form an extended family. This is the definition of a family movie. Not just for kids either, it is very entertaining stuff. Probably the most exciting of the three and a bit of a Jurassic park take off, but well done.
When the movie opens up it seem like the other two except now the main character voice acted by Ray Romona has a baby with his woman played by Queen Latifa. The story kind of centers around their family getting bigger yet also around the search for a lost member of the herd. It is beautiful CGI that comes off as original as opposed to some other animated films these days that just seem to be cashing in on as sequel that doesn’t need to be made. Like Madagascar 2 which was pretty dull. Yet the final installment quite possibly of the series of Ice Age will not dissipoint. It is a all around great animated film and pretty unique given it’s the third of the series. I give Ice Age Dawn of the dinosaurs an 8 1/2 out of 10.
